Our Story
Immanuel Celebration Church has its roots from a church of the same name in Tacoma, Washington that served the Tacoma community for over 70 years. The church impacted its community through various ministries, including one of the area's largest daycare centers as well as a weekly free dinner ministry. Just prior to the pandemic, its then-current pastor, Jeff Harris, informed the congregation of his family's plans to move to Idaho Falls the following summer. As the impact of the pandemic set in, the congregation felt that God was calling the church into a new direction. Immanuel decided to sell its building to another church, allowing ministry to continue at that location in Tacoma. The proceeds from the sale were used to accomplish three things: to support missionaries, to establish a scholarship fund at a local seminary, and to support a new church plant in Idaho Falls under the pastoring of Jeff Harris. Immanuel Celebration Church began in Tacoma, Washington, and it continues its legacy of ministry through the life of this new church plant in Idaho Falls.
We are currently meeting in person on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. We also meet online via Zoom at 7pm MST for prayer and Bible study. Follow the link on our page for login information!
